The target market was South African and Nigerian consumers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This was beyond the scope of off-the-shelf packages, so we implemented a ground-up website written on Django and jQuery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is a comprehensive eCommerce system, which allows adding clothes and defining combinations of items that work together, as well as standard customer basket and checkout management, with integration to a South African payment gateway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A year after launch the client felt stable enough to take the development in-house, we helped him make this transition seamlessly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our client wanted to create a unique fashion experience where in addition to selling clothes, the system would recommend and promote combinations that worked well together.
